Ado Köögardal (1891-1957) was the vicar of Keila parish during the years 1921-1957. Since 1935 he was the head of West-Harju deanery. The photos are about his outings with his family and friends in Estonia, but also in Helsinki during the 4th Finno-Ugric Culture Conference, held in 1931 in Finland.
Ado Köögardal described in his diaries, written in 1910-1952, intricately his work in the parish, happenings in family and in Estonia, weather and prices. Unfortunately the diaries from 1934-1935 were destroyed during the Second World War. Diaries from the period of Estonian Republic`s first years and of the Estonian War of Independence Ado Köögardal destroyed himself.
