Travel Information
Harju County Museum situates in Keila, 25 km far from Tallinn. From the Keila railway station it takes approximately 20 minutes and from Keila St. Michaels Church`s square approximately 10 minutes by foot.
How to reach us?
By train the trip from Tallinn main railway station (Balti jaam) takes 40 minutes. Line Tallinn-Paldiski or Tallinn-Riisipere. Stop Keila. Line Tallinn-Keila takes 30 minutes. Timetable on the web-page www.elektriraudtee.ee
By car the trip from Tallinn takes approximately 30 minutes (Route 8) along Tallinn Paldiski highway. The tower of Keila St. Michaels Church functions as an excellent landmark, if you use Route 8 or 11.
From the museum it is easy to continue the trip to the direction Paldiski and West-Estonia.
From Keila it takes approximately 30 min to Paldiski (Route 8), approximately 1 hour to Haapsalu (Route 9) and approximately 1,5 hours to Saaremaa Island (Route 9 and 10).
